Geethika has 25 years experience in the Charity sector with a particular interest in supporting and empowering children and families. This includes 6 years of being CEO including at Chance UK, providing mentoring and family support to children aged 5 – 13 with a specific focus on providing tailored support to those who have faced childhood trauma and YMCA George Williams College. Geethika is currently a Trustee of the Jo Cox Foundation and previously has been on the Board of local and national Charities including Parenting UK and Hopscotch Asian Women’s Centre. She also brings experience as a local government leader serving 8 years as a Councillor in the London Borough of Camden including as Cabinet member for Children, Schools and Families and chairing the local Health Partnership Board and has also been a School Governor and Chair of Governors at an inner London Primary School.
